Connect Your Custom MrRSMP Domain
Use this checklist to point a custom domain at the Mr. RSMP site, verify the published URL, and confirm SSL is active.

Decide the domain name
Choose the exact public URL you want visitors to type. Common options:
- mrRSMP.com
- www.mrRSMP.com
- mr-rsmp.com
- texashairrestoration.com

Register or confirm ownership
If the domain is not already owned, buy it through Lovable (paid plans: Project Settings → Domains → Buy new domain) or a registrar such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, or Google Domains.

Open Lovable Domains settings
Go to Project Settings → Project section → Domains (or Publish → Add custom domain). Click Connect Domain and enter the full domain exactly as you want it served.

Add the root A record
At your registrar or DNS host, create an A record for the root domain (@) pointing to Lovable:
Type: A Name: @ Value: 185.158.133.1

Add the www A record
Create a second A record for the www subdomain so both www and the root resolve:
Type: A Name: www Value: 185.158.133.1

Add the TXT verification record
Lovable will show a unique TXT record. Copy it from the Connect Domain dialog and add it at your DNS host:
Type: TXT Name: _lovable Value: lovable_verify=YOUR_UNIQUE_CODE
Replace YOUR_UNIQUE_CODE with the value shown in Lovable. Do not invent one.

Set the primary domain
Once verification and SSL complete, open the domain's three-dot menu in Lovable and choose Set as primary. This redirects the Lovable URL and any other connected domains to your custom domain.

Wait for SSL provisioning
Lovable issues HTTPS certificates automatically. This usually completes within minutes once DNS propagates, but it can take up to 72 hours depending on the registrar.

Verify the published URL
Test all versions of the URL in a private browser window:
- https://yourdomain.com
- https://www.yourdomain.com
- https://mr-rsmp.lovable.app (should redirect to your custom domain)

Optional: submit the sitemap
After the custom domain is live, submit /sitemap.xml to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to speed up indexing.
Troubleshooting
If Something Looks Stuck
The domain says 'Verifying' for more than a day
Use a public DNS checker (like DNSChecker.org) to confirm the A records and TXT record are visible worldwide. If your DNS host had a conflicting A record, remove it.
I get a certificate or SSL error
Do not add your own SSL certificate or proxy through Cloudflare with full SSL strict unless you enable proxy mode in Lovable. Let Lovable issue the certificate first.
www works but the root domain does not
Make sure both the @ and www A records exist and point to 185.158.133.1. Some DNS hosts use a different name for the root.
I bought the domain through Lovable
DNS is managed automatically. You can add records from Project Settings → Domains → Configure → Manage DNS records.
Verification Checklist
Once the domain is active, confirm each item before advertising the URL.
- HTTPS padlock visible
- No certificate warnings
- Lovable URL redirects to custom domain
- Mobile loads correctly
- Booking button works
- Lead form submits
